Desiree Fleming, known as Lady Des, wife of Apostle Jeremiah Fleming is a family woman, consultant, empowerment coach, author, playwright, director and a woman who has compassion toward others and a vision to help others overcome personal struggles.
She is the Executive Director of Unapologetically Woman, Desiree is also the Chief Editor of “The Unapologetically Woman Project” (The UW Project), which has published the book collaboration entitled “Unapologetically Woman “A Woman without Regrets or Excuses”, which includes her as a writer along with seven other authors.
In addition, she has five published children stories entitled Papatha the Adventurer, and a self-help book “Where Could I take my shame- The Unprotected Daughter”.
As a playwright Desiree has written and directed stage plays, “A Woman without Regrets or Excuses” and “Truth is…If I told you….You wouldn’t believe Me”, co-writing her first, attracting an audience of over 1500 between both plays.
Desiree’s newest venture is her “MPower-Me Moment Monday on Facebook Live", where she interviews others, as well as share very insightful inspirations.
Growing up a high school dropout, struggling with poverty, teen parenting, homeless, feeling hopeless, fake friendships, and surviving teen domestic violence abuse compels her to help others to see who they are outside of life’s circumstances and situations. Inspiring others comes second nature to Desiree, as she was created to ignite vision and purpose in others.
Desiree is a graduate of United Faith Institute and Bible College, she holds a Bachelor of Art in Urban Ministry and biblical studies.
